North Carolina offers a variety of fishing from trout in mountain streams to deep sea fishing for tuna, marlin and other large species. With an abundance of lakes, rivers, inlets and coastal fishing piers, North Carolina has something for every sports fisherman. If you never fished North Carolina, we really recomend that for your first trip you hire a fishing guide for at least your first day to learn the waters, species and best baits to use.
North Carolina Fishing guides are experts that know the waters and can ensure that your fishing trip is an awesome one. Guides often go out on smaller vessels that can accomodate up to 6 people where large charter boats can hold many more. Charter boats don't usually require reservations but you will need to reserve a private guide well in advance. In both cases, all the fishing tackle, rods and bait you need will be supplied. Large charter boats often supply your fishing permits as well.
If you are planning a trip to the North Carolina
coast, We highly recomend a Wrightsville Beach Fishing
Charter. The fishing charters that leave out of
Wrightsville beach are known for excellent catches and a
fun day on the water fishing.
